A daily rhythm for men

Be a Man.

A man isn't made in a moment. He's forged one day at a time, in the ordinary choices nobody else sees. Be A Man is a simple daily rhythm for men who want to follow Jesus with their whole lives: at home, at work, and in the middle of the storm.

The daily rhythm

Morning: Kneel

Before the phone, before the news, give God the first minutes of the day. Open the prayer guide, read the day's Scripture, and name one commitment you will keep today.

Midday: Stand

Do your work like it matters, because it does. Tell the truth. Keep your word. When the pressure comes, remember whose you are.

Evening: Examine

Look back over the day. Check off what you kept. Confess what you didn't. Thank God for what He carried, and lie down in peace.

Weekly: Gather

Men weren't made to fight alone. Meet with one or two other men each week to pray, confess, and hold each other to the line.

Ten marks of a man

Gratitude: every day is a gift, not a guarantee.

Confession: own your shortcuts before they own you.

Humility: the laurels fade; faithfulness lasts.

Loyalty: stand with your people when it costs you.

Creativity: find a way forward where there seems to be none.

Courage: face it afraid.

Work: build something that outlives you.

Peace: strength under control.

Growth: keep learning, keep being forged.

Love: lay down your life for the ones God gave you.

Memento mori. Remember that you will die, and live like today matters.
