Hi, I'm Ray Rhoton.
Pastor, missionary, dad, and a maker of things. Everything on this site points the same direction: God is in control, and He can be trusted.
From 2002 to 2015, Ray served as a missionary and church planter in Costa Rica and Panama, where he started Iglesia Vida in 2007. In 2015 he was called to pastor Bethel Community Church in Yukon, Oklahoma. He and Kristi have two kids, Lily and Max, both adopted. He survived Hodgkin's, runs a laundromat, and can't stop turning ideas into books, art, prayer bracelets, poems and songs. The conviction behind all of it: you don't have to stop being afraid to walk forward. You just have to know Who's walking with you.
What I make
Ray loves ideas, and he loves turning them into things people can hold. Some become books. Some become bracelets, art or songs. Each one is meant to remind someone in the middle of a storm that they are held.
Words
Memoir, faith fiction, poetry and songs. Stories of a God who never lets go, told by someone who has needed Him to hold on.
Things to hold
Prayer bracelets and necklaces, art and graphics, and the Be a Man collection. Small, tangible reminders that God is in control and can be trusted.
